Restoring the Voice of Healing

3 things about the voice of healing and the healing revival:

1. The Voice:

God is looking for a voice to cry out with a voice about divine healing:

• those who are fearless of controversy,
• speak truth about healing.

Many have not pursued their calling and unusual gift of healing because of the open public skepticism about the reality of a compassionate God.
Criticism has crumpled their faith.
Controversy has crushed their courage.
Are we too concerned about those who don't get healed?
Are we concerned about "my" experience with healing – which limits us?
He is the Healer; re-present Him well.

In 1940-1960, W. Branham, J. Coe, O. Roberts, G. Lindsay walked in an anointing that few have today. By studying their ways and walking on their floor of faith in what was their ceiling of operation, we can advance the Kingdom.

Key to mass evangelism is Healing, Signs and Wonders. The release of the Jn 5, "Pools of Bethesda", were common in the early 1900's. "Bethesda" means – "outpouring", and "House of Mercy".

A Bethesda – outpouring; was experienced in Spokane Washington which was declared by the Governor of State as the healthiest town in USA.

What was the cause of it all?

For 38 years a man was an "invalid on a mat" who could or would not get into the pool of Bethesda when the anointing was apparent (for and angel would descend and stir the waters).
The reason for his condition is found in Jn 5:10 "...It is the Sabbath, the law forbids you to carry your mat".
The atmosphere in the "house of mercy" was not revealed. The atmosphere was hopelessness and oppression controlled by those who worked in the house. Thus the response to someone healed on a certain day. There was no rejoicing only judgment. No wonder "he was in that condition for 38 years".
Many in our cities have been in conditions for lack of the revelation of healing that is freely given by the Healer.

Jesus walked up to Him, out of compassion and said 3 things:

1. "Get up..."
2. "...take up your mat...."
3. "...and walk!"

Almost saying: get up and get out of here.
Could it be that the prolonged sickness he had was due to him being held in by wrong teaching?
There is a difference between the right thing and doing the thing right.
Jesus warned Him, "sin no more lest a worst thing come upon you".
Sin and sickness are connected.

2. Creative Word:

• Spoken word – to release healing
• Confessed word – connected to what we say with our mouth.

Ps 107:20 "He sent His word and healed them, rescued them from their destructions".
Ps 119:89 "for ever O Lord thy word is settled in heaven".

Prophesy to the sick and speak to the body how change will respond to the word of God. Ezekial, prophesied to dead bones.

Ac 19:12 speak to the sick to come forth.
We pray too much for what God told us to do.
We need to pray until we are full of the H/S then go say to cancer go, deaf hear, blind see etc.
We need to take more of a commanding role and command miracles and speak to the dead rise in the name of Jesus.

3. Confession:

We need life words, faith words, healing words.

• Prov 18:21 "Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof."
• Prov 12:14" A man shall be satisfied with good by the fruit of his mouth."
  So if we are filled with good we can be filled with bad based on what we say.

• Prov 12:18 "Reckless words pierce like a sword, but the tongue of the wise brings healing"
• Prov 23:7 "for as he thinketh in his heart so is he"

So do we hold fast, grab onto the confessions of our faith!
Change what we say and begin to eat the fruit of it.

it will not return empty ~ ineffective and vain
but will accomplish ~ bring truth, execute, set
what I desire ~ not us, what He decrees.
achieve the purpose ~ goal, target, G-zero
for which I sent it ~ Ps 107:20 - healed them
